What a clip actually costs

A template video is billed by the second, not by a subscription tier. At the cheapest rate — Minimax H3 at 768P with a 15-second reference — a 15-second clip costs 10 credits. A still costs 1 credit. Credits are sold in packs and monthly plans; new accounts get free credits when signup credits are enabled.

Cost questions

Why does a video cost more than an image?

Video models bill per second of generated footage, and a reference-driven run also bills the seconds of the input clip. A still is a single frame, so it costs 1 credit.

Do failed renders cost anything?

No. A run that fails refunds its credits automatically, so you only pay for finished files.

Do credits expire?

Pack credits do not expire. Credits from a monthly plan last until the end of each billing period.
