Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what information AI Video Generator collects when you create an account, upload a photo, or generate a video, what we do with it, and what you can control. It applies to this website and the generator built into it.

Information We Collect

1. Account information — Your email address and the credentials you use to sign in. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email address, and avatar from that provider.
2. Photos and prompts — The images and text you submit to generate a video. They are sent to the AI provider configured for this site so the clip can be rendered, and are saved with your account so you can download the result.
3. Generation history — Which templates you ran, when, and whether a render succeeded, so your credits are accounted correctly.
4. Payment information — Billing is handled entirely by third-party processors (for example Stripe or PayPal). We never receive or store your card number; they send us only a reference and the payment status.
5. Usage data — Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, used for security and reliability.
6. Cookies — Small files that keep you signed in, remember your language, and (if you agree) measure site traffic. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time from the cookie settings panel.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the service: render your videos, keep them downloadable for you, and bill your credits correctly.
• To operate the business: billing, receipts, refunds, and prevention of fraud and abuse.
• To communicate: account notices, security alerts, and responses to support tickets you open. We do not send marketing emails you did not ask for.
• To improve the service: aggregated statistics such as which templates are popular. We do not use your photos to train AI models.

Who We Share Data With

We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with:

• AI providers — the photo and prompt you submit for a render, so the clip can be produced. They process it as our processor.
• Payment processors — the billing details needed to complete a purchase.
• Infrastructure providers — hosting, database, and email delivery, under confidentiality agreements.
• Law enforcement — only when we are legally required to, and only the minimum required.

Data Retention

• Uploaded photos and generated clips are kept while your account is active so you can re-download them.
• Deleting a generation from your library removes the link (and its photo) from the library view.

Your Rights

You can access, export, and delete your personal information yourself in Settings: the profile page to change or remove account details, your payments page for receipts, and your settings pages to clear generated files. You may also open a support ticket asking us to delete everything. If you are in the EEA or UK, you additionally have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect their data; if one is brought to our attention, we delete the account and its data.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit, all secrets are stored encrypted, and administrative access is restricted and audited. No online service is perfectly secure — if we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

International Transfers

Our infrastructure and providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with our providers.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you inside the service before they take effect.
